About Wauna Federal Credit Union

What is a Credit Union? Definition: A financial institution that is not-for-profit, is member-owned (cooperative) to serve residents with a common-bond (such as an employer, a community, a county, etc.), is also member-directed (a volunteer board of directors annually elected by the membership), and returns all profits each year to its members via strong savings and loan rates (than traditional for-profit banks), investment in technology and convenient service delivery systems, and most importantly, the delivery of the highest rated personal service in the financial services industry.

Wauna Federal Credit Union puts the needs of its member-owners ahead of all other priorities. We are in business solely to provide our growing membership with an alternative to high-cost, profit-driven megabanks in business solely to keep their stockholders and paid board of directors satisfied.

Today, Wauna Federal Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions headquartered in Oregon. We offer affordable financial services to the residents and businesses in Clatsop and Columbia Counties (Oregon), and across the great Columbia River to  Pacific County (Washington). We provide seven full-service branches throughout the region plus leading edge electronic and online services to meet the needs of every member no matter their life-style or life-stage.
